Changes Related to the Early-Start Experience: To improve the early-game experience and provide players with more flexibility from the very beginning, the following changes will be implemented: Newbie Guide ,Newbie Buffs & Shadow Items Newbie Buffs will be available from Level 1 instead of Level 6. Starting NPCs such as Nerupa (Elves), Vulkus (Orcs), and others will be able to provide Newbie Buffs after acquiring the Blue Gemstone. Newbie Shadow Items will be available from Level 1 instead of Level 6. A new option will allow players to select individual Newbie Buffs according to their needs. The existing predetermined buff scheme will remain available as well. The predetermined buff schemes do not account for hybrid classes, certain pets/servitors, or other specific setups. The new system gives players the freedom to configure their buffs as they prefer, providing a smoother and more flexible experience. Players will automatically receive 5 Newbie Coupons when they first speak to the Newbie Guide. There is no longer a need to request them manually. If you complete the Level 6 quest recommended by the Newbie Guide, you will receive 2 additional Newbie Coupons instead of shots. These coupons can be exchanged for shots if needed. This change prevents class-specific mismatches, such as Orc Mystics previously receiving Spiritshots while still requiring Soulshots afterward. Newbie Coupons will now be stackable. All Newbie Guide dialogue options will be consolidated into a single option: Select Shadow Equipment. Newbie Coupons can also be exchanged for: No-Grade weapon options such as spears and even shields No-Grade Jewel Set No-Grade Armor Set No-Grade Shots Adventurer Buffs Adventurer Buffs will be available up to Level 86. Players will always have access to these basic buffs throughout their progression. Starting from Level 53, Adventurer Buffs will require Adena. The cost will scale according to the player's level. D-Grade & C-Grade Shadow Equipment and Shots Players will be able to exchange their D-Grade and C-Grade Shadow Item Coupons for corresponding Shadow Armor and Shadow Jewels. Players can also exchange D-Grade and C-Grade Shadow Item Coupons for D-Grade and C-Grade Shots. These shots will be untradeable. This provides players with an alternative source of shots during the early stages of the server, before crafters begin supplying them to the market. Changes Related to Class Transfers: To make class progression more accessible and less time-consuming, the following changes will be implemented: Class Transfer Costs The cost of the first class transfer will be reduced from 50,000 Adena to 30,000 Adena. The cost of the second class transfer will be significantly reduced from 3,000,000 Adena to 600,000 Adena. Simplified Second Class Transfer The second class transfer process will be simplified. Players who choose to complete the second class transfer will only need to complete one quest instead of the usual three. More specifically, only the Level 39 quest from the existing trio will be required. This approach is similar to the current system for Kamael classes, which only require a single Level 39 quest for their second class transfer. Class Transfer Achievement Although the class transfer process will be significantly shorter and more affordable, players who enjoy completing the associated quests instead of unlocking them with adena will still have an incentive to do so. A new achievement will be introduced for completing three class transfer quests. Level 35 & Level 37 Class Transfer Quests With only the Level 39 quest being required for the second class transfer, the existing Level 35 and Level 37 class transfer quests would no longer be mandatory. The current proposal is to remove these quests from the required progression and replace their existing dialogue options with a message informing players that only the Level 39 quest is required for the second class transfer. This would also help reduce unnecessary complexity and maintenance, as some of these quests are known to be problematic or buggy in certain situations and require significant development time to properly address. Blessings System Players can now select a Rate Enhancement Effect that increases one specific gameplay rate. The selected effect can be changed at any time, allowing players to adapt their bonus to better suit their current needs and playstyle. Available effects include: EXP Gain: +15% SP Gain: +15% Item Drop Rate: +20% Adena Gain: +20% Seal Gain: +20% These effects are shared among party members, creating an additional incentive to form parties with players who have different effects active. By combining different bonuses within a group, players can maximize their overall gains . Our goal with this system is to encourage players to party up, cooperate, and build stronger connections within the community. By making different effects valuable to the entire group, we hope to promote more active party formation and give players another reason to seek out and play alongside others Changes Related to Blacksmiths: To improve the crafting system, reduce unnecessary material requirements, and create additional opportunities for the in-game economy, the following changes will be implemented: Material Crafting Blacksmiths will be able to craft multiple quantities of materials using a single recipe. For example, a player could craft 100 Coarse Bone Powder (CBP) using 1,000 Bones and a single CBP Recipe. This represents a 100x crafting multiplier. However, the multiplier will vary depending on the material, with some materials having lower multipliers. This system will create a consistent demand for material recipes on the market. While this change may slightly reduce the profitability of certain crafting activities, it will create additional value for Recipe sellers, ensuring that Adena continues to circulate within the community rather than leaving the economy. A-Grade Dual Swords The Blacksmith of Mammon will no longer require Dual Stamps to craft A-Grade Dual Swords. B-Grade Dual Swords Blacksmiths in Aden and Rune will no longer require Stones of Purity to craft B-Grade Dual Swords. Instead, they require C-Grade Crystals. Removing Weapon SA The Black Marketeer of Mammon will now charge Ancient Adena (AA) when removing a weapon's Special Ability (SA). When removing an SA, the Crystal used for the SA will be preserved, allowing players to reuse it. This feature will be available for A-Grade and higher equipment only. The same functionality will also be available through the Blacksmith of Mammon, as he is also capable of removing Special Abilities. Changes Related to Crafting : Failing a craft will now give players crystals instead of nothing at all . The amount and quality of crystals is equivalent to the grade/type of gear. This will increase the number of crystals on the server , reducing their price . Might be good for shots crafting , allowing easier transactions with the Luxury Hall Sellers . Changes Related to Fishing: Fishing Skills & POCF Fishing Skills learned using Proof of Catching Fish (POCF) will now be shared across all subclasses. Once a Fishing Skill is learned, it will remain permanently available to the character, regardless of the active subclass. The amount of POCF required to learn Fishing Skills will be reduced by 90%. The goal of these changes is to encourage players to actually engage with the Fishing system rather than avoid it due to the high cost of acquiring its skills. Changes Related to Shadow Items: Shadow Items will no longer consume their remaining duration while the player is inside safe areas, such as towns. This means that Shadow Items will effectively pause their consumption while in safe zones. This change addresses a common quality-of-life issue where players could equip a Shadow Weapon, set up a shop overnight, and return the next day to find that the weapon had expired despite not actively using it. Changes Related to Treasure Keys: To simplify the Treasure Chest system and increase the overall value and usefulness of Treasure Keys, the following changes will be implemented: Universal Treasure Keys Treasure Keys will no longer have different grades. All Treasure Keys will be replaced by a single universal item: Deluxe Chest Key. The method of obtaining Treasure Keys will remain unchanged. The same monsters will continue to drop them. A Deluxe Chest Key can now be used to open any Treasure Chest within the player's level range, regardless of the chest's grade. The Summon Treasure Key skill will now generate the universal Deluxe Chest Key instead of grade-specific keys. The number of keys generated by the skill will remain random, as it is currently. This change is intended to make Treasure Keys more valuable and useful throughout the entire leveling experience. A key obtained during the early stages of the game will no longer become obsolete as the player progresses. Instead, it can be saved and used later to open higher-level Treasure Chests, provided they are within the player's level range. This creates additional flexibility and ensures that Treasure Keys retain their value for a much longer period of time. Changes Related to Pets: To make the pet system more flexible, accessible, and useful across different classes, the following changes will be implemented: Pet Skills & Utility The following pets will now be able to heal and recharge their master: Cougar Kookaburra Buffalo This change allows players to choose a pet based on either personal preference and aesthetics or how well it complements their class and playstyle. Previously, Kookaburras provided significantly more utility than the other two options, making them the obvious choice in many situations. With this change, all three pets will offer comparable utility, giving players more freedom when choosing their companion. Pet Equipment Upgrades Pet Equipment can now be upgraded using Adena instead of Gems. The overall financial penalty for upgrading equipment has also been significantly reduced. When upgrading a lower-tier item incrementally all the way to the highest-tier item, the total cost will now be only 5% higher than purchasing the highest-tier item directly. Pet Jewels can now also be upgraded, providing additional flexibility when progressing your pet's equipment. Players will now be able to upgrade Baby Pet equipment all the way to the highest-tier full-grown Pet equipment without any progression barriers. Previously, equipment could not always be upgraded directly to the next class of gear, which made pet progression unnecessarily restrictive. Changes Related to Pailaka: Pailaka quests will no longer automatically restore Vitality upon completion. Instead, completing a Pailaka will reward the player with a Revita-Pop, which can be consumed whenever the player chooses. This gives players greater control over when to use the Vitality recovery effect, allowing them to save it for a more beneficial moment. Changes Related to Clan Eggs & Reputation Boxes: To simplify the Clan Reputation system and give Clan Eggs additional value, the following changes will be implemented: Reputation Boxes Reputation Boxes will be removed from the game. Instead, Clan Eggs can now be consumed by the Clan Leader to obtain Clan Reputation Points. This removes the need for a separate custom item when the same functionality can be integrated directly into an existing game system. Lower-level Raid Bosses will remain worthwhile to farm, as excess Clan Eggs can now be converted directly into Clan Reputation Points. In some cases, systems can become unnecessarily complicated when additional items are introduced to perform functions that could be handled more efficiently elsewhere. Reputation Boxes are one such example, and this change is intended to simplify the overall system without reducing its functionality. Overall, this change simplifies the system while ensuring that Clan Eggs remain valuable throughout the game and that lower-level Raid Boss content continues to have a meaningful purpose Changes Related to Codexes: Discipline Codex The Discipline Codex will no longer have a chance to de-level a skill when changing its enchantment path. This change is intended to encourage players to experiment with different enchantment options without having to worry about losing progress or being penalized for changing their setup. Players will have greater freedom to test different paths and optimize their skills according to their class, build, or playstyle. Oblivion Codex The Oblivion Codex currently has very limited practical use, making it largely obsolete as an item. It will therefore receive an additional function while retaining its existing purpose. The Oblivion Codex can still be used in the Skill Enchant window to decrease the level of an enchantment, should the player have a reason to do so. In addition, the Oblivion Codex will become a consumable item available to Level 85 characters. When consumed: The player's experience will be reduced by an amount equivalent to 50% of Level 85. The consumed Oblivion Codex will be transformed into a Mastery Codex. Depending on the player's current experience, this may result in the character losing a level. Converting Excess Experience This new function is primarily intended for characters who have reached Level 85 with 100% experience, where normal experience progression is no longer particularly meaningful. Instead of allowing excess experience to have no further value, players will be able to convert that experience into Mastery Codexes. This creates an additional progression option for Level 85 characters, while also giving the Oblivion Codex a meaningful purpose and making experience and leveling remain relevant even after reaching the level cap. Changes Related to Mail: Players will be able to open and read mail from anywhere, but they will only be able to retrieve and send items while in designated safe zones. Changes Related to Territory Wars: Territory Badges Territory Badges will no longer be region-specific. All regional badges will be consolidated into a single universal item: Territory Badge. These universal badges can be used at any Territory Manager, regardless of where they were obtained. Territory Manager Rewards The rewards offered by certain Territory Managers will be reviewed and adjusted to provide a more balanced and fair reward structure. Particular attention will be given to territory-specific weapons. Greater Freedom During Territory Wars By making Territory Badges universal, players will no longer need to focus exclusively on a single territory in order to make meaningful progress. Players will be free to participate in as many Territory Wars as they wish, allowing them to choose territories based on availability, strategy, or personal preference. This change also gives every territory meaningful value, as badges obtained from any region can now be used at any Territory Manager. Changes Related to Hellbound: To make the Hellbound progression more accessible while preserving the intended progression and mechanics, we will be introducing a checkpoint system. The system allows players to skip certain sections of Hellbound once they have successfully reached those locations before. The goal is to reduce unnecessary repetition while still requiring players to experience and complete each section at least once. Old Town Instance The chance of obtaining the Evil Key will be increased from 50% to 100%. This means that players will no longer be able to fail the instance due to the key not dropping. Once the instance has been completed and the party speaks with the Moon Seal, all party members will receive a Level 1 Pass. The Level 1 Pass will allow players to skip the entire Village Instance on subsequent runs and proceed directly to the Base Tower. Tower of Infinitum The first time a player and their party teleport into the Tower of Infinitum, their Pass will be upgraded to Level 2. A Level 2 Pass will allow players to skip the following sections on future runs: Base Tower Labyrinth Hallway Players will instead be able to teleport directly to the entrance of the Tower of Infinitum. Tully's Workshop Tully's Workshop will remain unchanged and follow the retail progression. Completing Mantra's Curiosity will grant players access to this location. Anomic Foundry The first time a player enters the Anomic Foundry, they will receive a Level 3 Pass. This Pass will allow players to teleport directly to the Anomic Foundry on future runs, skipping the Tully's Workshop section. Beleth's Room The first time a player defeats Epidos and teleports into Beleth's Room, they will receive a Level 4 Pass. The Level 4 Pass will allow players to teleport directly to the Mutated Elpy Room on subsequent runs. Using the Checkpoints To use these checkpoints, players will need to present the appropriate Pass to NPC Deltuva. Each Pass represents a previously completed stage of the Hellbound progression and allows the player to bypass the corresponding sections. Making Hellbound More Accessible We believe this checkpoint system will provide a significantly more enjoyable Hellbound experience, particularly because reaching these locations through the original retail progression can be extremely time-consuming. Hellbound contains some of the most interesting mechanics, encounters, and concepts in the game. Our goal is not to remove the progression entirely, but rather to reward players for having already completed it once. Once players have successfully reached a specific location, they should not be required to repeatedly go through the same lengthy progression every time they want to return. This system preserves the initial Hellbound journey while making subsequent runs faster, more accessible, and more focused on the actual content players want to experience. Changes Related to the Isle of Prayer: To make the Isle of Prayer progression more accessible, reduce unnecessary repetition, and create additional opportunities for player interaction and trading, the following changes will be implemented: Dark Manor Quest Completing the Dark Manor Quest will now reward players with a Contaminated Cluster. When used, the Contaminated Cluster will spawn a Contaminated Crystal. The item will have a 24-hour cooldown. This means that the Dark Manor Quest only needs to be completed once. Afterward, players will have a recurring method of obtaining Contaminated Crystals without having to repeat the entire quest. Dragon Scales & Dragon Claws Dragon Scales and Dragon Claws will no longer be consumed when used. Once obtained, these items will remain permanently in the player's inventory. They will instead have a 30-second cooldown between uses. If the items are not successfully used within the required timeframe, the party will need to wait an additional 30 seconds before attempting the process again. This change removes the need to repeatedly obtain the same items while still preserving the intended timing and mechanics of the encounter. Secret Race Keys Secret Race Keys will follow the same principle. Players will only need to complete the corresponding challenge once. Upon completion, they will receive a key with unlimited uses. This removes unnecessary repetition while preserving the original challenge required to unlock the content. Lahm Lahm will now occasionally spawn on the floating Isle of Parnassus. This removes the need to form a party and enter the Crystal Caverns instance every time players need to interact with him. This change is intended to make accessing Lahm more convenient, particularly for players who are only interested in completing an exchange rather than running the entire instance. Dynasty Part Exchange Lahm will also offer a significantly improved exchange rate for Dynasty Parts: Players will receive 9 Dynasty Parts instead of 2, representing a 4.5× increase. The required number of Seeds will also increase proportionally by 4.5×. The required amount of White Seeds and Black Seeds will remain unchanged at 1×. In practical terms, this means players will require significantly fewer White and Black Seeds to obtain Dynasty Parts. For example, if an exchange previously required 9 White or Black Seeds, the equivalent exchange will now require only 2. Crystal Trading Contaminated, Red, Clear, and Blue Crystals will now be tradable between players. This change will provide a small but meaningful boost to the player-driven marketplace. It will also create additional opportunities for trading, resource sharing, and economic interaction between players. Overall, these changes are intended to reduce unnecessary repetition while maintaining the core Isle of Prayer mechanics and giving players more flexibility in how they obtain and exchange its resources. Tower of Insolence Changes: Dimensional Vortexes Red, Blue, and Green Dimensional Stones will no longer drop from monsters. Instead, players will receive the corresponding Dimensional Stones when they first speak to the NPCs located near the Dimensional Vortexes on Tower of Insolence Floors 1, 5, and 10. Dimensional Stones will no longer be consumed when teleporting between Dimensional Vortexes. The Dimensional Vortexes were previously underused. With this change, they will effectively serve as checkpoints, making it easier for players without Noblesse to travel between different sections of the Tower of Insolence. Elixir Related Changes: HP and MP elixirs no longer share a cooldown, allowing them to be used independently. All elixir recipes can now be purchased from Trader Wensley, located in the Underground Shopping Area of the Ivory Tower. We hope these changes will make elixirs a more valuable and sought-after commodity, further encouraging player-to-player trading and contributing to a stronger server economy. These changes may also help bring Common Craft back into use, giving players a reason to engage with a system that has seen very little use until now. Over-Hit Changes: Over-Hit will now grant up to 50% more EXP, rewarding skilled players and making those intense 1v1 encounters with monsters even more rewarding. Over-Hit now has a 3-second cooldown, preventing the bonus from being repeatedly triggered or amplified by AoE skills. Clan Hall / Fort / Castle Changes: Support Buffs Every Clan Hall, Fort, and Castle will now always have the maximum-level Support Magic function available. Buffs obtained from these residences will now last 40 minutes, increased from the previous 20 minutes. EXP Bonus Zone Changes: The EXP/SP bonus has been reduced from 30% to 10%. Bonus Zones will now provide a 10% increase to EXP, SP, and Adena earned while inside the zone. The list of EXP Bonus Zones will also be expanded to cover a wider range of levels. Common items : Common items disabled until Gracia Final+ Chapter .They were created as a catching up mechanic but here everybody starts as the same time , so their function is not needed . They are also interfere with the crafting system since they provide almost so much value for little to no risk , making crafting some equipment obsolete.
